Carl Lentz Sermon

I know, I know. I have been gone for a while. God has been guiding me through an amazing adventure in my new life. I am now a full time student, studying for my Masters in Human Services Counseling for family and marriage counseling. I prayed to God to lead me to where he felt I should be and this is where he led me. I'm excited to see what he has in store for me next.

I have had many people ask me about my journey with God, especially many of my close friends. Some ask curious questions from do I still drink wine? or how is what I follow different from the Catholic Church? While I many not be able to explain fully many of the questions, or many will not understand until they experience God like I have, I have prayed for God to use me is any way that I can help people understand or bring them closer to experience the true meaning of being a believer and not following religion, but living with the living God.

For this post, I wanted to share a video from Pastor Carl Lentz of Hillsong Church. I think this video can answer some of those questions, especially what does it mean to have a relationship with God, not just follow a religion, and see the difference yourself. It's a long one, but please try not to be too busy to learn about God.
